A ‘Flea Affaire’ for Sierra College

Search for treasures in Granite Bay
-A +A

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday May 18, the Sierra College Patrons will hold the 11th annual Flea Affaire. Stroll through the private gardens of a Granite Bay home while searching for treasures from purveyors of antiques, furniture, collectibles and garden accents.

Nearly two dozen dealers will bring new and old garden items, vintage clothing, transfer ware and jewelry. New dealers will join this year. Kim Keeley will bring her repurposed furniture, and returning will be Nancy Okey with country primitives and the Richters and their French accents.

Plan to have lunch in the beautiful garden. Pastries, light lunches and snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. There are places throughout the garden to sit and enjoy your chicken or albacore croissant sandwich. If you are coming with a group, call (916) 652-4840 for a table reservation.

The location of the event is 5130 Moss Lane, Granite Bay. The gate opens at 9 a.m. Parking will be available on the property.

The Sierra College Patrons, a branch of the Sierra College Foundation, are dedicated to promoting the arts and humanities at the college. Proceeds from patron-sponsored events will be used to benefit these programs in the form of grants and scholarships awarded to Sierra College students. The patrons were founded in 1984 and have given more than $250,000 in support.
