Up to a $1,000 reward for information regarding Breen Park fire

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 5, subjects used an unknown source to light the toddler playground structure and a few surrounding trees on fire at Breen Park, located at 2842 Shelton St. in Rocklin. The damage to the park is estimated at approximately $40,000 to $50,000.
The Rocklin Police Department is currently investigating the arson and are requesting that anyone with information regarding who may have started the fire contact Detective Gil Farrulla from the Rocklin Police Department at 625-5441.
Placer County Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards, up to $1,000, for anonymous tips leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for this arson. The phone number for Crime Stoppers is (800) 923-8191.
