An 11-year-old Orangevale boy will host a fundraiser Monday to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

From 3-5 p.m., Casey Kleeschulte will team up with Epic Indoor Skate Park in Rocklin for a skateboard and scooter session. Epic will donate 30 percent of the proceeds to the American Red Cross. Admission is $12; all ages welcome.

"I just heard a lot of stories at church and on the radio," and decided I should do something," Casey said.

He's the son of Jeff and Julie Kleeschulte and attends school at Adventure Christian. Fundraising is nothing new to him; he also organized a truck raffle that bought a box truck for the Orangevale Food Bank.

Funds raised Monday will be used to buy generators and other needed supplies for the victims on the East Coast. Donations can also be made at the event.
