The Camp Fire is one of the most devastating fires in California history. It only took two weeks for it to destroy more structures than California's seven worst wildfires combined.

With thousands of residents forced to evacuate their homes, Del Oro FFA (Future Farmers of America) wanted to help these victims out by starting a donation drive here in room 614 at Del Oro High School.

Melissa Martin and Anna Clement, who started this event, saw the people in need and wanted to do something about it.

Many FFA members helped out, including CJ Dvorak, who stated, “ We offered to the community to donate used and new clothes, bedding, shoes and toiletries. We then sorted them and donated certain items directly to the fire and then offered clothes to the survivors down in our area.”

We at Del Oro FFA thank everyone who donated clothes and other items and helped out with the donation drive. We also wish everyone affected by the fire a quick recovery.
