Another one-point loss for Lady Tigers, this time to Rocklin

For the third time in three league games this season, the Roseville High girls basketball team lost a close encounter Wednesday night on its home court. The Tigers dropped their second straight one-point decision to Rocklin 37-36 after being outscored 17-6 in the final eight minutes. Roseville put together a 14-2 third period to take a 30-20 lead in to the final stanza, but it was not enough as the Thunder rallied for the victory. Katie Simon scored nine points to lead the Tigers and Raina Loya added nine. Rocklin got a very balanced scoring effort, as Chelsea Adams led the way with seven points. Allie Judd, Katie Summers and Tori Johnson each scored six points. Rocklin (1-2 in the SFL, 7-9 overall) hosts Nevada Union (1-1, 8-8 at 7:30 p.m. Friday night. Roseville (0-3, 6-11) visits Del Oro (2-0, 13-1).
