Between their computers and phones, it seems like Apple releases three or four new products every year. If you buy an iPhone in 2011, it is bound to be topped in 2012 by another iPhone that has little changes and a big price tag.
Apple, being one of the top companies in the world, is excellent at marketing. They know that through advertising and the name “Apple,” they can get away with selling a “new” product to the public that hasn’t really changed. Rather than make a big improvement every couple of years, they make small ones. This is an excellent way to make money, but it rips off the consumer.
