Are tax policies losing Rocklin business?

-A +A
We have another in a long list of letters criticizing the Rocklin City Council. I think perhaps I agree with David Birchell of Rocklin, but for different reasons. I have been told that the Galleria chose to locate in Roseville because of the Rocklin city taxing policy. I have also been informed that those same tax policies are discouraging new businesses from locating in Rocklin. Perhaps those same tax policies are forcing other businesses to leave. If this information is accurate, then it is no wonder that we have all of those vacancies. The city council appears to be so greedy for tax money that it has killed the Golden Goose. Where have we heard this same story before? We seem to have our own version of outsourcing. Frank Little, Rocklin
