Director Judith Jesness of the performing arts wing of the newly formed Art League of Lincoln is preparing to go into rehearsals in mid-January for the first stage production.
Auditions will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, Wednesday, Jan. 16, in Beermann’s Theatre on the second floor of Beermann’s Restaurant, 645 5th St., Lincoln, and are open to everyone.
This hit comedy, “Love, Loss and What I Wore,” is still running on Broadway. There are roles for five women. They may be of any age and ethnicity.
The show will run March 13-17 with four evening performances and two matinees. Experience is not a prerequisite.
People interested in backstage participation may come to the auditions to meet with the director and discuss their interests. For information, call Jesness at 677-9327.
