Auburn man arrested for threatening to kill roommate

An Auburn man was taken into custody by Auburn Police Wednesday night after allegedly threatening to kill his roommate.

Police received a 911 call at around 10:40 p.m. with the caller stating that his roommate, Matthew Ryan Netto, 33, was acting aggressively and had allegedly threatened to kill him, according to a press release issued by the Auburn Police Department early Thursday morning.

After making contact with all the parties involved in the 300 block of Timberline Lane, Officer Tyler Neher established probable cause and placed Netto under arrest for making criminal threats. Netto was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Placer County Jail. As of Thursday morning he was being held on $25,000 bail.
