Cheers erupted around Folsom as their beloved Bulldogs took the state title Saturday. "Winner, winner, we won," a woman shouted as she ran out from a bar on Sutter Street Saturday evening. Bars and restaurants carried the game for locals who were unable to attend the game. The Folsom High Bulldogs stomped Serra 48-20 to claim the Division II title. JoAnne Reinking, a trustee for the Folsom Cordova Unified School District, posted a note of congratulations on a social networking page. "Congratulations to our Bulldog players, coaches and parents," she wrote. "What an incredible experience, one that will always be remembered." Mary Mast, the director for the Folsom History Museum, also posted note of praise for the Bulldogs. "The Folsom Bulldogs just won their state division football game," she wrote.
