I have lived in Rocklin since 1997 and my family owned and operated a local business, Sunset Whitney Country Club, for over 27 years. This year marks an important transition for the Rocklin City Council. Kathy Lund’s departure signals the end of an era of leadership on the council. As citizen’s of Rocklin, it is important for us to use our voice to vote in the new leadership of Rocklin in November. This year, I am supporting Scott Yuill and Greg Janda for the council. Scott, who has owned and operated a local business for more than 20 years, is finishing his first term on the council. He has been a very positive addition to the council. With his experience, Scott will help play a critical role in promoting business and growing the city’s tax base in the years ahead. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Greg Janda as a member of the Steering Committee of the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Rocklin program for the last five years. Greg’s experience as a small business owner for the last 13 years and his financial and business skills would serve our city well in the years ahead. These challenging times require new, innovative thinking that Greg can bring to council. Please join me and vote for positive new leadership for our community. Kathleen Tucker, Rocklin
