Steve Price, of Pablo Cruise, is just one musician who will be performing at the second annual Winter Music Festival and Wild Bird Show, from 6:30-11 p.m., this Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Blue Goose Event Center. Steve Price and his wife, Nancy, are the organizers through Be the Change. The event benefits the Gathering Inn and Gold Country Wildlife Rescue, which will present rescued owls, falcons, hawks and a magnificent bald eagle.

“This is an educational show that allows you to get up close and personal with these amazing birds. If you have children this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to learn about these amazing creatures, and how they have to adapt to life with us,” said Nancy Price.

Entertainment includes the Jimmy Buffet tribute band Garrett Wilkin and The Naked Parrotts and Mr. December Band – with the rhythm section of Pablo Cruise's Larry Antinino and Steve Price joining the band.

Closing the night will be an all-star grand finale performance with a line-up of world-class musicians that include Price, Antonino and Tal Morris; Frank Hannon, of TESLA; Randy Scoles, of RBMR; Mr. December; John Morris, of Gamma; Wilkin and Dean Everett, Rick Turnage, and Ellen Range, of The Naked Parrotts. This performance includes a special tribute to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Food, drinks, beer, wine, cocktails and raffle tickets will be available for purchase. An auction will be held for a Fender Squire-Strat guitar with amp and stand, autographed by The Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, Buddy Guy, all members of WAR and The Turtles.

General tickets are $25 and kids under 10 are free. Tickets can be purchased at Blue Goose Produce or online at, or call 230-8129.
