CPR Saturday offers free CPR and AED training

Volunteers from the Placer District of the Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross want to help you learn to save lives. More than 100 American Red Cross volunteers will host a free training on Saturday, March 20, for CPR Saturday, a day-long event designed to teach the public CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and AED (automated external defibrillation) skills. CPR Saturday will take place at William Jessup University. After successfully completing one of the three and a half hour classes, which includes adult CPR, choke rescue and rescue breathing skills, and AED training, each attendee will receive an American Red Cross certification valid for one year. A $10 non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of pre-registration.
