The Newcastle Elementary School History Club’s seventh annual Club Crab Feed and Dance will be held from 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in Loomis.

The evening will feature a fresh crab dinner, raffle prizes and live music by the Bad Iron Band. The menu includes crab, shrimp salad, prawn cocktail, pasta and bread.

Proceeds from the dinner will help the eighth-grade History Club offset travel expenses for the trip to Washington, D.C. This year, the students have the additional excitement of witnessing the inauguration.

Those who can’t make the dinner can come at 9 p.m. to hear the live music, for a $5 cover charge. Bad Iron is a four-piece powerhouse that covers rock songs from the 1970s to today.
