Information taken from Rocklin Police Department log. NOV. 27 Sometime between Oct. 13 and Nov. 27, an office building under construction became the target of alleged vandals. According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) broke a side window of a new building on Live Oak Lane. NOV. 26 Sometime between Nov. 24 and 26, a 62-year-old Thunder Ridge Court resident became the victim of alleged burglary. According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) broke glass in the front door, gained entry and stole jewelry from a rear bedroom. Damage is estimated at $250. NOV. 26 Around 1:30 p.m., an associate of Mercedes Benz of Rocklin on Granite Drive reported alleged vandalism. According to the police report, the dealership’s courtesy shuttle bus incurred damage after being hit by a BB gun pellet. The driver was reportedly operating the vehicle when the alleged strike happened. Damage is estimated at $700. NOV. 26 Police were notified of two incidents where an unknown suspect(s) vandalized vehicles with rocks. According to the police reports, both incidents involved throwing a rock through the front windshield of the victim’s car parked overnight. The first incident happened just after 3 a.m., on Poppy Circle; the other happened at 7:45 a.m. on Sceptre Drive. Damage to both of the vehicles reportedly totaled $800. NOV. 26 Around 11 a.m., the driver of a Mazda 626 was pulled over on Dominguez Road. According to the police report, the driver John Mathew Mitchell was cited for driving while having a suspended license for DUI.
