FEB. 11 About 9:30 p.m., a Rocklin officer stopped a driver on I-80 at Rocklin Road for a suspended registration only to allegedly find drugs in the vehicle. According to the police report, the driver, 22-year-old Mohammed Abdel Mishal, was arrested for drug possession after the officer inquired about an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The officer reportedly found nearly 23 grams of the drug in the car. Mishal allegedly did not have a prescription for marijuana. FEB. 11 Sometime overnight, a Concord Road resident reported being the victim of alleged vandalism. According to the police report, the 53-year-old resident discovered her lawn torn up from an unknown suspect(s) driving across it. Damage is estimated at $100. FEB. 11 Sometime overnight between Feb. 6 and 11, an associate of LT Logistics on West Oaks Boulevard reported being the victim of alleged attempted burglary. According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry open the doors to the business and explode an alleged explosive device. The homemade device was made from a prescription bottle with bbs and gun powder inside. Damage to the business is estimated at $1,600. FEB. 8 Just after 2 p.m., a Sierra College Student reported being the victim of theft on campus. According to the police report, the 22-year-old victim left his text book on the table in the computer lab. A suspect grabbed it, walked out the door and allegedly sold it to an off campus bookstore just 15 minutes later. The theft is valued at $40.55.
