Information taken from Rocklin Police Department log. APRIL 7 Between 3:30 p.m. and 7:20 a.m., a Rocklin resident reported being the victim of alleged theft at William Jessup University on Sunset Boulevard. According to the police report, the 23-year-old victim told police his hub caps were allegedly swiped off of his Toyota Camry while parked in the religious institution’s parking garage. The theft is valued at $120. APRIL 6 Just before 9 a.m., a woman told police her purse was snatched inside the Walgreens on Sunset Boulevard. According to the police report, an unidentified white female removed the victim’s purse from the shopping cart inside the store, concealed purse between the counter and her abdomen, paid for items and left the location with the victim’s Louis Vuitton purse. The 47-year-old victim lost ID, a watch, money and debit cards. The theft is valued at $1,233. APRIL 1 Just after 11 a.m., a Rocklin resident reported someone was shopping at Michaels on Galleria Boulevard in Roseville with her check. According to the police report, the unknown subject(s) used a fictitious check with the victim’s account information to make a purchase. The alleged thief could be charged with burglary, making a fictitious check and impersonation to get money. How the alleged thief got the information was not released.
