Armed robbery at Heritage Inn
Just after 11 p.m. on Friday, May 14, a lone gunman entered the Heritage Inn, 4480 Rocklin Road, and demanded cash of the front desk clerk, reports Rocklin Police Sgt. Bart Paduveris.
The individual, who was wearing a mask and carrying a large black handgun, fled out the west side entrance with approximately $900, he continued.
The suspect is described as male with a medium complexion, stocky build and about 5’10” to 6’. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with no markings or logo, blue jeans and black baseball-style batting gloves.
He may also be linked to a beige or champagne-colored 1990s Honda Accord, which was seen in the area at the time of the incident.

Sometime overnight, a Rocklin man reported his minivan, which was parked near a bike trailhead off King Elder Court, had been vandalized.
According to the police report, unknown subject(s) threw a rock through the front driver’s window of the vehicle while it was parked on the street. Damage is estimated at $400.
Between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m., a man reported being the victim of theft while inside the Department of Motor Vehicles office on Grove St.
According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) allegedly stole the victim’s iPhone 4 while it was left unattended on the counter
The Black iPhone 4 is reportedly worth $650.
Just after noon, a driver reported his SUV was allegedly burglarized while parked at Whitney Oaks Golf Club on Clubhouse Dr.
According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) shattered the front drivers’ side window to remove $3,350 worth of golf equipment inside the vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $1,000.
Between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., a woman reported being the victim of alleged theft at Breen Elementary on Breen Dr.
According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed her purse. The 45-year-old victim reportedly recovered her purse, but lost $696 in property, including her wallet with credit cards and ID as well as a My Touch cell phone valued at $299.
Just after 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism at Rock Creek Elementary School on Collet Quarry Dr.
According to the police report, unknown suspect(s) removed tiles from the roof and threw them on the ground. The alleged vandalism damaged five tiles on the roof.
Just after 1 a.m., a Citrus Heights man was arrested on suspicion of stealing emblems off luxury cars at the Neillo Land Rover dealership on Granite Drive.
According to the police report, 20-year-old Alexander Gritsko was booked on grand theft, tampering with vehicles, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct involving alcohol after he allegedly ran from a fenced-in area of the dealership after police arrived.
Responding officers reported Gritsko was pocketing Porsche emblems valued at $250 for four.
Police reported the suspect was on probation for theft at the time of the alleged crime.
Just after 9 p.m., a Union City resident was arrested on suspicion of possession of counterfeit money at Heritage Inn Express on Rocklin Road.
According to the police report, Albert Gil Fallorina was arrested on charges of possession of forged $ bills and being out of the 50-mile radius required by his parole.
It is unclear if Fallorina was a guest or just passing through the inn at the time of the arrest.
