Taken from Police Log at Rocklin Police Department, 4500 Rocklin Road JULY 10 A 2001 Toyota Tacoma pickup, parked in the 5500 block of Tripp Way, was reportedly keyed. Estimated damage $250. A catalytaic converter was reported stolen from a 1997 Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 5600 block of Miners Court sometime during the early morning hours. According to the police report, the exhaust system was sawed off to remove the converter. Estimated damage is $1,500. JULY 9 A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a 1994 Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 5600 block of Adobe Road sometime during the night. Estimated loss is $400. Unknown individuals climbed over a locked fence at a residence in the 5100 block of Charter Court, then used a dog door to enter a garage sometime between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. The burglars took a Wii game console, 30 Wii games, 2 gaming guitars and drums, an IPod dock and a car carrier. Estimated loss is $1,800. The resident’s adult Black lab was also reported missing. JULY 8 Prescription glasses and a down jacket were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in an apartment complex in the 5900 block of Springview Road sometime during the night. Estimated loss is $300. A 20-year-old Rocklin resident reported the loss of a HP mini book and bag, valued at $410. The victim told police the theft occurred on the afternoon of July 3. A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner, parked in the 6600 block of Lonetree Boulevard, sometime during the night. Estimated loss is $400. JULY 7 A 56-year-old resident of an apartment complex in the 5200 block of Rocklin Road reported the theft of jewelry taken from her apartment sometime during the night. The paint on a 2005 Toyota 4-Runner parked in the 5400 block of Casa Grande was damaged sometime during the night.Estimated damage is $300. JULY 5 Unknown suspects used a tool to pry open the front door of a residence in the 4000 block of Coldwater Drive sometime between July 2 and July 5. Items taken were a checkbook and camera.
