JULY 19 Joseph Michael Lopez, 29, of Sacramento was arrested at 5:30 p.m. on suspicion of possession of narcotics, felony committed while released on bail and false tags on a vehicle. During a routine vehicle stop on Sierra College Boulevard at Granite Drive, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the car. JULY 18 Five trucks parked behind a business in the 4400 block of Yankee Hill Road were broken into sometime between July 16 and July 18. Suspects smashed windows and broke into toolboxes to take heating and air tools valued at $4,000. Estimated damage to the trucks is $9,000. * * * A 44-year-old Rocklin resident reported someone used her social security number and name to open a credit card account at a store in May. * * * A 60-year-old Rocklin man reported on July 18 someone used his credit card information to make three purchases. Estimated loss is $2,230. * * * Jerry Blaine Giles, 28, of Grass Valley was arrested at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of Sunset and Spring View on suspicion of domestic violence, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and being under the influence. * * * Michael John Radakovitz, 45, of Carmichael was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence for an incident that occurred on July 16. JULY 17 A 19-year-old Rocklin resident received minor injuries following an assault around 2:30 p.m. on Aguilar at China Garden Road. He told police he was walking toward Rocklin Road when a truck pulled over and three individuals jumped him. He refused medical aid. JULY 16 An 18-year-old Rocklin resident was cited for possession of marijuana shortly after midnight in the area of Brookfield Circle and Sierra College Boulevard. Officers had responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting shots fired when they spotted the youth walking in the area and approached him. He apparently became combative when officers tried to talk to him. * * * A 47-year-old Rocklin woman was arrested around 6 p.m. on suspicion of domestic violence at her residence. * * * Sometime during the night someone broke the passenger window of a 1998 Toyota Camry parked in the 6200 block of Rainier Drive and removed an IPod from the center console. Estimated loss is $200. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $300. * * * Following a verbal dispute, an unknown individual walked up to a truck in the drive-thru lane of a restaurant on Sierra College Boulevard and smashed the driver’s side window. He left the scene while a witness to the incident called 9-1-1. Estimated damage is $300. * * * A Black male, described as 5’7”, slender build with a short haircut, is suspected of stealing a black and purple BMX bicycle parked at the Rocklin Library building on Granite Drive. The suspect was reportedly wearing bright red pants, either a black or white T-shirt and possibly a black hat. Estimated loss is $550. Someone broke into a locker at a business on Sunset Boulevard sometime between 9 a.m. and 10:15 p.m. and took a woman’s purse containing her license, credit cards, keys, cell phones and cash. Loss is estimated at $1,000. JULY 15 Unknown individuals took a GPS unit and an apartment gate opener from an unlocked vehicle parked on Cobble Creek Drive. Estimated loss is $200. Loomis resident Jonathan Dahl was arrested just before midnight on an outstanding $50,000 felony warrant after officers found him behind an office building on Citrus Avenue and Delmar. An 18-year-old Rocklin resident was cited at 7:20 p.m. for possession of alcohol while parked in a theater parking lot on Lonetree Boulevard. Just before 2 p.m., an unknown individual attempted to cash a forged check at a bank on Sunset Boulevard. He fled before officers arrived. Anton Lee Graham, 20, of Rocklin was arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools and weapons shortly before 4 a.m. Officers found him dressed in black and walking along Westwood and Hickory Drive. JULY 14 Sometime during the night, someone removed the wheels and tires from a 2004 Cadi Escalade SUV parked in the 7000 block of Pembroke Way. The vehicle was left on landscape blocks. Estimated loss is $2,200. JULY 13 An IPod and cash were reported stolen around noon from the console of a truck parked at an apartment complex on Meridian Way. Estimated loss is $390.
