Information taken from Rocklin Police Department log. Station 4080 Rocklin Road in Rocklin. MARCH 22 About 3 p.m., a Havenhurst Circle resident reported being a victim of fraud after her ATM card and pin were allegedly stolen. According to the police report, the 21-year-old victim had her Wells Fargo debit card taken from the multi mailbox near her residence. The victim told police she discovered the ATM card was activated and used at an ATM in Rocklin. MARCH 19 About 1:30 p.m., a resident called police to report a suspicious person sleeping near the front door of Rock Harbor Church on Racetrack Road. According to the police report, officers approached 21-year-old Christopher James Brock and found him to be in possession of a concealed knife, marijuana and a drug scale. Brock reportedly admitted he planned to sell the drug to his friends. That’s when the officer arrested Brock on drug possession and a weapons charge. MARCH 19 Sometime overnight, police suspect an incident of arson occurred at Mansion Oaks Park on Pebble Beach Road and Mountaingate Drive. According to the police report, neighbors reported noises coming from the park about midnight. Officers reported seeing a plastic garbage can near the playground structure melted from suspected arson. The fire caused about $100 worth of damage. MARCH 16 About 8 a.m., school officials called police to report an excessive case of truancy by a student at Rocklin High School. According to the police report, 18-year-old Haley MeKeel had missed 84 school periods and had been issued three attendance letters for truancy including a meeting with school officials, MeKeel and her mother. MeKeel was cited for a third offense of habitual truancy. MARCH 15 Sometime after 4 p.m., a Rocklin business reported an alleged burglary. According to the police report, the 65-year-old victim helped two people at Fay’s Galleria on Granite Drive when he reportedly lost his wallet during an alleged theft. The victim told police while one suspect distracted him, the other took his wallet from beneath the front desk. The victim’s ATM card was then allegedly used at two locations in Sacramento.
