Drexel University announces charity golf tournament

The inaugural Drexel Charity Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, June 5 at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento. The golf tournament, organized by the student leadership association at Drexel’s Center for Graduate Studies in Sacramento, will begin with an 8 a.m. shot gun start at the Alister MacKenzie Golf Course at Haggin Oaks. All proceeds from the event will go to supporting the science and health programs at Grant High School in Sacramento. Cost for the 18-hole, scramble format tournament is $57 for Drexel students, alumni and faculty. Cost for non-affiliates is $75 and includes green fees, cart, lunch and awards. Companies can be a “Dragon Sponsor” for $500, which includes a foursome. To register, email or call Jonathan LaTurner at 997-7718.
