Efrain Gonzalez arraignment continued to April 22
The Placer County District Attorney’s Office announced Monday that the arraignment date for Drs. Efrain Gonzalez and Yessennia Candelaria will be continued until April 22.
Gonzalez and Candelaria were arrested on March 15 in connection with the execution of search warrants on the couple’s business, Advanced Medical Spa, and their Rocklin home
“The information seized during the execution of the search warrant has expanded the scope of this investigation,” according to a press release from the District Attorney’s Office. “We are awaiting additional reports by investigators as well as the results of the forensic testing of evidence seized during the execution of the warrant.”
The office has also received additional complaints from former patients of Gonzalez, the report said. These complaints are currently being investigated Any individual who believes they were victims of Gonzalez should contact the Placer County District Attorney’s Office at (916) 543-2570 or California State Medical Board Senior Investigator Roberto Moya at (916)63-2590.
The pair will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. in Department 31 of Placer Superior Court.
