-A +A

Rocklin Fine Arts has issued a call to artists for the juried Snowflake Art Show scheduled for Jan. 26 and 27. Jurist will be Robert Dvorak, renowned speaker, painter and teacher.

Entries will be received between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Finn Hall, 4080 Rocklin Road. Artists are encouraged to compete for monetary prizes that will be awarded. Entries for the Snowflake show will feature work of adult artists only. Due to the volume of artwork entered by students last year, a special art show for students only will be staged in May.

For more information, and to obtain entry forms, visit www.rocklinfinearts.org.

Officers for 2013-14 were unanimously elected at the Nov. 17 Rocklin Fine Arts meeting: Gini Crepps, president; Jer Jarrett, vice president; Debbie Plath, secretary; Bill Jarrett, treasurer; and Karen Stegemen, sergeant of arms.

Artwork by Rocklin Fine Arts members is currently on display in the Granite Bay Library, Rocklin Florist and J.D.'s Bakery.
