Four arrested in suspected hit and run
Shortly after midnight on Feb. 23, a 23-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while walking on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of Aitken Diary Road in Rocklin.
Police found the man with injuries to his leg including a broken ankle, police said.
After a tip from a neighbor days after the incident, Rocklin police began what turned out to be a two-week investigation into the case.
Arrested was David Scott Simmer, 18, of Roseville, for two counts of vehicle assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run resulting in injuries and driving with a suspended license. Simmer is currently being held at the Placer County Jail on $250,000 bail.
Police also arrested Megan Marie Simmer, 21, of Roseville, Adam James Mays, 19, of Rocklin, and Michelle Joleigh Donom, 20, of Roseville, for accessory after the fact.
