The Granite Bay High wrestling team picked up a critical league dual meet win Tuesday night as it took care of business against Rocklin 59-18.
"Hard work has been paying off for the Grizzlies," said Granite Bay coach Mike Lynch. "We have youth, but we keep getting a little better each day. That is what we are working for."
Rocklin had a few moments in the match, but it was mostly the Grizzlies' night as they dominated the lighter weight classes and won big at the heavyweight level as well.
Granite Bay faces a big challenge at the end of the week as it visits a strong Del Oro team Thursday and then spends Friday and Saturday at the Tim Brown Memorial Tournament at the Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento.
