Handy person program available to seniors

Do you need help installing a grab bar or smoke detector? If you?re age 62 or older and have a gross yearly income below $45,950 for singles and $46,800 for couples, the Rocklin Handy person Program can help. This is a free service to low-income home and mobile home owners in the city of Rocklin, that are 62 years of age or older, who meet the income guidelines. The program is also available for people with disabilities.  Repairs include, but are not limited to: grab bar installation, door and window repair, lock and deadbolt installation, water heater repair, light plumbing and electrical, stairs and/or railings, smoke detector installation and battery replacement, weather stripping and caulking, light bulb replacement, filter replacement, and swamp cooler repair.
