This charming granite home, once the clubhouse for the English gentry who founded Citrus Colony, now Penryn, is just one of the homes featured on the fourth annual Loomis Basin Holiday Home Tour, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10. Self-guided tours of four more homes – from historic to luxurious – all decked out for the holidays, plus a luncheon and craft fair, will also highlight the event. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1. Tickets are $25 in advance, with the option of a $10 lunch ticket. Lunch, entertainment and a craft show are at Rock Hills Winery. The event benefits the Loomis Basin Education Foundation and the seven schools of the Loomis Union School District. Organizers are in need of volunteers to serve on the committee and act as docents. To volunteer, call event chair Leslie Griffith at 899-0422. For more information, go to
