Find out Friday morning when the Auburn Chamber of Commerce hosts a Power Breakfast recapping the results of the recent “Listening to Business” walk through the greater Auburn business community. The event will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, March 11, at the Auburn Holiday Inn. Admission is $15 and includes breakfast. The morning will provide an overview from Placer County and Auburn city leaders on the trends in the local economy, including the results of a survey on March 2 from hundreds of local businesses. “The goal behind the Listening to Business effort and the Power Breakfast is to garner valuable feedback, commentary and data from area businesses,” said chamber CEO Bruce Cosgrove. “From there, this information will further help community leaders and government representatives guide their time, talent and resources to support programs and policies benefiting business and making the economy stronger.” Placer County Economic Development Director Dave Snyder, Auburn Mayor Dr. Bill Kirby and City Manager Bob Richardson are scheduled to speak. ~ Staff report
