Rocklin voters have a great chance this year to set the course for the city’s future leadership for many years.
Thankfully, we have three very experienced and involved community members who have stepped forward to run for City Council.
Greg Janda, Dave Butler and Ken Broadway have each proven themselves in different ways through extensive community involvement. Greg Janda is a small business owner who made a long-term commitment to lead the Rocklin Chamber’s Leadership Rocklin program, in which I am now a participant. Dave Butler served the chamber as a board member for many years, including as chair for the 2011 year. Ken Broadway has been very involved in a number of community sports organizations, including serving as president of the Girls’ Fast-Pitch Softball League.
Each of these three will bring great skills to the City Council. Each of them understands public policy issues and the challenges facing our City.
As Rocklin turns the page from longtime leaders of our community, these three are ready to take our community forward and serve us all well.
