Like many families, we chose to live in Rocklin because of the excellent schools, safe neighborhoods and quality parks.
This year, we have the chance to choose three people to serve on the Rocklin City Council in the years ahead. There are many good candidates, but one stands out for his mix of experience and commitment to our community.
Greg Janda is a small business owner who has managed a technology company for 15 years. These business and financial skills would be beneficial in managing our city’s budget and establishing priorities for our spending. Outside of his business, Greg has a long track record of community involvement and making a difference. After graduating from the Leadership Rocklin program in 2005, Greg joined the team that leads the program for others – helping to train about 100 people who have an interest in taking on community leadership positions.
Greg is well-connected to the business community, volunteering at Rocklin Chamber events over the years, everything from directing traffic at Hot Chili & Cool Cars to walking door to door asking businesses about how the city can improve the climate for business in Rocklin.
Voters can choose three people to serve on the Council. I encourage you to consider casting one of those votes for a proven community leader, Greg Janda.
