This year, Rocklin voters have an opportunity to vote for three new City Council members and help set a positive direction for our city’s future.
Greg Janda, a small business owner and longtime community volunteer, is one candidate who would help move our city forward. Greg has immersed himself in a number of civic activities, including serving on the Steering Committee for the Rocklin Chamber’s Leadership Rocklin Program for seven years. He has regularly attended City Council meeting and has completed other programs to prepare him for this position, including graduating from the Rocklin Citizens Academy earlier this year.
Greg is committed to keeping Rocklin a safe community, earning the support of the Rocklin Police Officers Association. He will use the financial skills he’s developed as a small business owner to ensure that our tax dollars are spent wisely.
Greg also has been involved in youth sports activities and understands the importance of providing excellent recreation opportunities for everyone in our community. Given his long-time involvement in the chamber, Greg will be able to work closely with our business community to fill the empty stores in town.
With our city facing significant challenges in this economy, I believe Greg Janda would be an excellent choice for our community.
Bill Halldin, Rocklin
