Jazz Night planned for Sierra College

The Sierra College Music Department will present Jazz Night at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, in Dietrich Theatre, 5000 Rocklin Road.

Enjoy an evening of swing and contemporary jazz and popular music with the Sierra College Jazz Voices and Jazz Band, directed by Greg McLaughlin, and the Evening Vocal Jazz Ensembles, directed by Sarah McQueen-Cunningham, plus special guests. Songs to be performed include “Emily” by Johnny Mercer and Johnny Mandel, “Little Sunflower” by Freddie Hubbard and Sting’s “Murder by Numbers.”

Admission is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department. There is a $3 parking fee on campus.
