Jessup hosts its first conference on faith and justice

William Jessup University?s Public Policy Department is hosting its first Intercollegiate Conference on Faith and Justice on Saturday, Nov. 21. The event brings together high school and college students from throughout Northern California to learn about global injustices and what they can do about them. This student focused, daylong event includes issue-specific workshops from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the WJU Lecture Hall as well as an evening benefit concert from 7-10 p.m. in the Academic Warehouse. The workshops focus on critical local and global issues such as single-parent families, homeless teens, HIV/AIDs and human trafficking/sexual exploitation/forced labor.
