Join former Kings player for sports camp
With kids out of school for summer vacation, many parents are looking for activities to fill up the long summer days.
Hardwood Palace and Sky Zone is holding two-week long sports camps, with former Sacramento King player, Harold Pressley, July 20-24.
Any children ages 6-17 are welcome to participate in the daily activities that take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Each camp cost $200 per person, but there is a $50 discount on the second registrant’s fee.
The Hardwood Palace is a multi-sport complex, which contains eight hardwood floors that can be used to play basketball, volleyball and other sports including Futsal, a fast-paced indoor version of soccer.
SkyZone is a recreational center that contains all-trampoline playing fields where kids can play a number of games including a version of dodgeball or they can have fun jumping on the trampolines.
A typical day during the sports camp will begin with a three-hour session, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the SkyZone Recreational Center. From 11 a.m. to noon, participants will have an hour long lunch session, during which they will have the option to purchase lunch or eat a lunch they brought with them. From noon to 3 p.m., the children will enjoy the Hardwood Palace.
To register to be a participant at these summer camps, go to www.hardwoodpalace.com. From the Web site, parents can either register their children on-line or print out a registration flier that they can bring into the Hardwood Palace.
