Jubilee aftermath nothing short of disgusting

-A +A
As the Rocklin Jubilee has become a popular event, I find the aftermath disgusting. I went for a walk after the fireworks and was astonished by what I found: Vomit on the streets, people passed out drunk on the sidewalks and not to mention the trash in park the day after. The event attendees park wherever they want taking resident parking, just a plan lack of manners and consideration for people who actually live near the park. As I walked along the sidewalk nobody would share the sidewalk making me walk out into the street, just rude. Does anybody have any manners anymore? Rocklin likes to portray itself as a “clean” and modern city. However, this event has grown beyond the city’s ability to control. Food for thought next year! Dawn Devany, Rocklin
