Jump in to swim lessons

Get a jump start on your summer fun with the city of Rocklin Jump in Early swim lessons for your little one. Each session consists of eight 30-minute lessons with a qualified instructor. This spring season swim lessons will be held May16-26 at the Rocklin High School City Aquatics Complex. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday each week. A weeklong basic water polo camp will also be held in June. Kids can learn the basic rules of water polo, ball handling skills, eggbeater kick and treading through simple drills and scrimmaging. The city of Rocklin is hosting this June 6-10 camp also at the Rocklin High School City Aquatics Complex. There will be a boys and a girl’s session for the camp running Monday through Thursday. The boy’s session will be held from 8-10 a.m. and the girl’s session will run from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost for the camp is $80 for residents, $90 for non-residents. Along with water polo camp, the aquatics program is also offering a water polo conditioning camp. This camp is targeted for high-school aged water polo players looking to get into peak condition for water polo. This class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning June 14 and running through July 28 from 7-9 a.m. This course will be held at the Rocklin High School City Aquatics Complex for $60 for residents and $70 for non-residents.
