In response to Proposition 34, I would say that most people believe we should keep the death penalty.
People who are on death row are only on there for unforgiveable crimes they have done, like rape, murder and few other things. But only something so cruel to an innocent person will get you death row.
I believe that if you have committed a terrible crime you should be put on death row. If you have murdered and raped someone, why should we leave you in a jail, where you are fed and sheltered by our tax money?
The families of the people that have had their lives ruined by these terrible people in jail should not have to pay for it. That is why they should keep the death penalty.
