The Lincoln High School Boosters annual 5K Fun Run/Walk scheduled for Sept. 3 has extended preregistration until Thursday, Aug. 23. Runners and walkers can go online to http://lhs.wpusd.k12.ca.us and select “Web Store” for a registration form. Mail registration must be received by Friday, Aug. 24. The donation entry fee is $20 and includes a T-shirt commemorating the run. The cost on race day is $25 and does not include T-shirt. This Labor Day Fun Run/Walk takes place on the Outdoor Learning Environment (OLE) property just off Twelve Bridges Drive in Lincoln. Parking at Twelve Bridges Middle School and carpooling to the site is recommended. The event is hosted by Fighting Zebras cross country.
