Each lessons offers intensive work on all phases of the sport. Learn defense (read opponent, anticipate and types of defense), serving (jump and float), passing (proper footwork, transition), hitting and blocking (timing, footwork, approaching net, closing block). The camp is directed by Keith Hart. Hart has taught both club and high school volleyball, as well as serving 19 years as an official. All matches are doubles for both adults and youth under 18 years of age. LARTA if a nonprofit community organization supporting local and youth tennis programs founded in 2011. It is made up of tennis professionals, coaches and tennis enthusiasts. The organization will be forming more tennis-related events in the future. The fee includes golf, cart, practice tee, putting contest, and more. International luncheon provided by The Chef’s Table, Vaiano Trattoria, and Burgess Brothers Burgers. Tournament format is 2-ball with handicap per foursome; prizes for top three places, longest drives, closest-to-pin, and more.
