Make-A-Wish Foundation names Rocklin’s Bridge as CEO

Kennan Bridge of Rocklin was named CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California. As chief executive officer at Make-A-Wish, Bridge will lead administrative, fundraising and wish-granting activities for the chapter, which serves 24 northeastern California counties and granted more than 250 wishes last year. Bridge brings more than 18 years of executive management experience in the nonprofit and private sector. Most recently, he had served since April of 2007 as vice president of business operations at Sierra View General Contractor. He also worked for more than eight years as vice president of marketing and chief operating officer at PRIDE Industries, the Roseville-based nonprofit that creates jobs for people with disabilities. Additionally, he founded and served as president of SmartGrowth, a consulting firm working with small to mid-size companies on growth and business strategy. Bridge is active in the community, having served 10 years on the board of directors of KidsFirst (formerly the Child Abuse Prevention of Placer County) as well as six years on the board of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce. ~Staff report
