Mover allegedly takes 54 video games from newcomers

More than 50 video games were allegedly stolen during a family’s move from Michigan to Rocklin. On Nov. 5, approximately $2,900 worth of video games was stolen from a family’s residence while their moving company was unpacking their personal belongings. According to the release, one of the movers sold four of the reported stolen video games approximately one hour after the mover left the victim’s residence. During a search of one of the movers, Angel Alberto Sanchez Jr.’s house, Rocklin Police located evidence connecting Sanchez to the crime. Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail on charges of possession of stolen property, obstruction of a peace officer with threats and participating in a criminal street gang.
