Sunset-Whitney Golf Course needs to become a good neighbor. The weeds on their fence line along Whitney Boulevard between Midas and Argonaut are deplorable.
One guy with a weed eater and some Round-Up could take care of it in one to two hours. Same with the weeds along Sunset Boulevard near Stanford Ranch Road.
Emails to the golf course requesting action go unanswered, as do calls.
I had to cut the weeds along my fence line on the 15th fairway so the pollen wouldn't blow all over.
I proposed some good neighbor ordinances to the city council that should now include tougher rules for golf course property.
Rocklin is looking a tad sloppy in places. If I wanted to live in Rio Linda, I would have bought a house there.
Sunset Whitney should think about being a good neighbor and respond to neighbors' requests, not ignore them.
