What we’re working on:  We continue to cover the death of Auburn man, Matthew Steele, who died after being stabbed Wednesday near Placerville. Reporter Gus Thomson went to an impromptu memorial Thursday evening at a local park and spoke with those that knew him. He’ll have more on Steele and the reaction of the community.

Reporter Jon Schultz is following up on Thursday night’s board meeting for the Charter Horizon Schools, which prompted emotional pleas from parents and former teachers. Jon will also have a piece on the positive economic growth that Auburn is now experiencing.

What do locals think about Lance Armstrong’s admission that he used performance-enhancing drugs? Reporter Andrew Westrope is finding out by asking those in the local cycling community their thoughts. Andrew will also have a piece on the Auburn Union School district’s efforts to upgrade their technology.
