Officer breaks-up car lot raid

An officer passing by a Rocklin auto dealer managed to break up an alleged burglary in progress. According to the police report, the sliding glass window was broken out of the dealership on Pacific Street about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 25. The officer arrested William Norris Bryan Jr. of Auburn who was observed running from an allegedly stolen Mercedes from the lot. After investigation, another stolen vehicle was recovered from the suspect’s residence. The 27-year-old was arrested for vehicle theft, passing stolen vehicles and burglary. ~Jon Brines
