Parks offer tons of amenities

How often does the common person have the ability to make a difference in their community? Rocklin will have just that opportunity by supporting Measure A and voting for Rocklin’s parks and our quality of life. Voting Yes on Measure A will help to maintain Rocklin’s 30 parks. Voting Yes on Measure A will ensure our children will have a safe place to play and be outdoors instead of staring at the TV. During these difficult economic times, our parks offer a wonderful opportunity for free recreational activities. Our 30 community parks include 40 children’s playgrounds, 11 lighted baseball diamonds, three lighted soccer fields, four lighted multi-purpose fields, six lighted tennis courts, three water parks, a skateboard park, a roller hockey rink, a Frisbee golf course, picnic grounds, walkways, restrooms, snack bars and open turf areas. I hope you will join me and vote Yes on Measure A. And who knows, maybe sometime in the near future that $30 a year will help to maintain a regional park here in Rocklin named Clover Valley.
