Preschoolers help celebrate Fairytale Town’s 50th anniversary

-A +A
In celebration of Fairytale Town’s 50th anniversary, Holy Cross preschool/kindergarten in Rocklin visited the park. The children spent a week in preparation for their visit to Fairytale Town by learning nursery rhymes and reading fairy tales. Students sang their nursery rhymes at each site. Visitors stopped to listen and applaud the children’s singing. In addition, the children were able to spend time exploring, climbing and walking through Fairytale Town. They finished the day with a lunch in the park. Holy Cross Preschool in Rocklin was established in June of 2007 and began its new fall classes in August. New this year is a kindergarten class with a maximum of 10 children, that currently has a few openings. The class has a credentialed teacher and low child-to-teacher ratios. Holy Cross Preschool is attended by children 2 years old to kindergarten and before and after school-aged children with transportation from the local Rocklin and Loomis elementary schools. ~ Staff report
