Problem solving leads to head shaving

-A +A
Rocklin Elementary teacher Skott Hutton is sporting a new do thanks to two of his students. Fifth-graders Brian Lee and Daniel Xiong each mastered more than 50 objectives in math. Their reward was to shave their teacher’s hair into a mohawk Friday. Lee mastered 93 objectives and Xiong mastered 51 objectives. Lee beat Hutton’s previous student record of 75 objectives. The class average is 26, Hutton said. Lee and Xiong each got to shave half of Hutton’s head while their fellow students watched.
