On Sunday, March 24, nearly 250 youngsters attended a free Easter egg hunt at Rocklin’s Twin Oaks Park, hosted by local Realtors Jill Van Dusen and Kelly O’Harran, of Keller Williams.

“Rocklin is such a wonderful family-based community, we just wanted to provide a free event so that parents can bring their children out to a park and celebrate the spirit of the season,” Van Dusen said.

The hosts provided 3,500 stuffed Easter eggs for the children, and made sure the Easter Bunny was able to greet each of them. This is the second year in a row for the event.

“We also host a free family event in the park in the fall,” O’Harran said. “This year will be the third annual free Family Movie Night with free popcorn, soda and candy. Last fall we had over 300 people attend, and we hope it gets bigger every year.”

The two Realtors are active in the Placer County Board of Realtors and want to raise awareness that many Realtors are active in giving back to the community.

“We live here too, and maintaining the high quality of our community is important to all of us,” Van Dusen said.
