Parallax, Inc. will hold their first Robotics and Microcontrollers Expo from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 13 and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 at their Rocklin headquarters, 599 Menlo Drive. The fun-filled event, which celebrates National Robotics Week, will feature hands-on activities, games and contests for electronic enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Many of Parallax’s most popular robots, including the Scribbler 2, the Boe-Bot and the SumoBat, will be featured in interactive demonstrations presented by staff. Guided tours of the headquarters will give visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how the company’s many products are created. Guests will also be able to learn how to solder or learn to program Parallax’s BASIC Stamp microcontroller. Activities will also be available to help Boy Scouts obtain their Robotics merit badge. A vendor fair will also be open.
